Where we are going

We are still going to the Yekaterinburg mission but just not the mission home.  That is probably good cause I am not very good with paper work and Richard is, so he would just end up redoing what I had messed up every day.  We are going to work in the branches around Chelyabinsk.  That will be more what we may have some skills or experience in.  I now find though that it is even colder there then in Yekaterinburg, oh well, we are not going for a vacation.  Our speaking in Church has been set for the 26th of February.  Hope we can get everything done.  Thank you again for your help and you good wishes and support.  We love you

Getting ready

          It is harder than one would think to get ready to go on a mission. You have to go to the Doctor and get a physical, for many that is not hard but for some like Richard who has never been or it seems like they have never gone, that was a real challenge. Then comes the vaccinations and for me that was hard. Then the mouth or should I say teeth need to be fixed.  There is no hope for my mouth to be fixed! We then needed to get passport and visa pictures and applications done and in. Oh I forgot about the stress test that we needed to do. Then we needed to find out if all our electric gadgets would work phones: no,  computers, laptops, i pads and i touches: yes and bring them we are told. Heath insurance is a question, house and cars more questions TV service, phone service, utilities and more and more questions of concern. maybe now we should redo that stress test.
    We have been blessed through it all because many good and wonderful professionals have, when we say we are using their service to go on a mission, have provided their service for free or little cost. Cache Valley is a wonderful place to live with many wonderful people. I am sure when We are through and come home we will even appreciate what we have here even more.
